A child who lives in an environment that is gripped by suffering should understand those sufferings well and should do everything that should be done during his childhood, including all the learning activities and external activities that should be done. If he does all of them well, without any lack of care or delay, good luck will come to him automatically. For this, there is only one thing we need to do. Let us examine what it is.
What is the status that we have been given by birth after being born in this life? Can we make our future successful by staying in that status? Can we not? Do others respect us in this life? Or do they despise us? We should ask ourselves these and other questions. How much effort do my mother and father put into creating me as a king in this world? When we ask about these and other thoughts about the situation in our lives and the shortcomings in those situations, is there a foundation that we need to eliminate or perfect? We will build a mentality that is necessary to build it with wisdom. Then we will build a mentality and environmental needs that are suitable for us to act accordingly.
Whether we are all born to the very rich or the intellectuals or the poor, all of us who live in this world, even if we live separately from various groups, we were all created as part of the same living being. It is well explained in the Agganna Sutta. What is that?
We were all created as a single living being in the universe, and due to the unlimited unsatisfied desires that arose in our minds, we developed sexual relations in our bodies as male and female. Based on that, others scolded those who engaged in sexual intercourse in various ways. They started beating them with sticks and clubs. That is why they built small houses with the aim of performing sexual intercourse with fear and trembling. Then, through sexual intercourse, another development of the living being took place. They divided each other and now a group of people who follow various races and religions has been created all over the world. But we all originally came from the same living being. Another point that comes up is as follows. A moment where kinship is revealed is as follows.

We use this even today. If a brother and sister sitting in the house engage in sexual intercourse, it is shown as a disgrace in the same way. It has been there since then. That is why we should always remember that we are descended from a single being and be courageous. Many of the things we have have been lost because of our unsatisfied desires. If we keep thinking about all of them, they will not come back to us. But we can create a more beautiful future or a future equal to it. We must do it with our courage. If we buy a vehicle, we try to clean it frequently and repair it when it breaks. Similarly, we try to nourish our body in some way when it is sick or when we are hungry. There are also times when we have to make great efforts to make those efforts successful. Why don't we do all this with the aim of bringing good luck to our lives? Isn't that right?
There is a hidden purpose in every action and word that we all do. Sometimes we act with awareness of those purposes. But in some cases, even if we do the work with expectation, it will be successful in an unexpected way, and our mind will feel great happiness. That is the real luck and satisfaction we have.
In some cases, we will encounter a great danger. Because of that danger, we may avoid a bigger trouble that could have happened to us in our future day. Therefore, we should keep in mind that we should accept every sorrow and happiness that comes to us in the same way. That will be a good foundation for the success of our life. Our luck will not come from reading and writing, as well as from listening to what teachers teach. Likewise, our wisdom will not be developed. There are some places in our wisdom and mind that are rough and unpolished. There are times when some iron will not be crushed no matter how much it is crushed. Then that iron must be thoroughly heated and crushed. To make that fire, the fire must be provided in the amount required. We must also have the courage to nourish our wisdom and mind well. If we practice hard work with that courage, even rough places will automatically become smooth.
Due to the frequent collision of water with certain rocks on the beach and in the middle of the sea, even though it is a rough rock, it gradually breaks and becomes beautiful rocks and coral reefs. It pleases the eyes and hearts of many people. It also provides habitat for many fish. But I am trying to make this rock into a rock, did that wave originally think of turning it into a rock? No, it was not a deliberate work. It was all like a great and amazing creation that came about through spontaneous events.
In our lives, some tasks that we do without knowing will not be successful. We have been surprised by their success. That is why, in our respective periods, try to do something that is customary for us to do. Through that, your life will be successful. No one can fail that success. It is a good gift given by nature for its activities. We should try to move forward by worshipping it well, but we should not think of staying there by looking at that gift. We should gain the strength required to navigate life in the midst of a vast ocean and act wisely and with our mind.
If we act in this way, nature will be able to prevent all the obstacles that come to our lives. It is a gift given to us through nature. As a support for our talent. But knowing that, we should act humbly and not act arrogantly.
Fortune will judge us. No one has any ability to prevent it. But we have a good ability to prevent it. That is our laziness. We all get into the prison of laziness by ourselves. So, we should ask ourselves what kind of happiness we can get by living in the prison of laziness and since we do not get any happiness in it, we should act courageously with a good determination to experience happiness.
A life that is not a bed of roses can be made a bed of roses. A house full of darkness can be illuminated. A poor man's house can be made a home. Invisible eyes can be made visible. A deformed body can be made beautiful. To do all this, we must have unwavering courage. We must also have an unwavering mind. Then the missing fortune will come to us, erase the misfortune and make us happy forever.
