This world is blind. Few know its truth. Like a bird freed from its cage, few go to happiness.

Because of the thoughts that arise in the uncontrolled minds, every living being has had to live a miserable and oppressed life since the beginning of the universe. It will be clear to anyone who examines carefully that all this has happened because of the unlimited dissatisfaction and desire that is aroused in the minds of people. It is clear to us that the poor people got that situation because they went to satisfy their unlimited desires and enjoyed their wealth in a wrong way. Similarly, did people who were not lacking in wealth not live that way because those people worked hard to become rich and lived a righteous life? Isn't that the nature of the world today?

Can someone inherit a lot of wealth and wealth from birth? He can act as if he has no responsibility for it. Why? Because he did not make any effort to acquire those riches. But if someone makes great effort to acquire his wealth, grain, and possessions, that person wisely tries to use and protect that wealth well.

One day, the Buddha addressed the monks and said: Monks, you should live by yourself. You cannot receive help from others at any time or in any way. You should live wisely, mindful of the four things: your body, mind, pain, and Dhamma, and should abandon greed and hatred.

Similarly, monks, there lived a Sakvithi king named Dalhanemi. He had obtained seven valuable treasures.

1. Chakra

2. Elephant

3. Horse

4. Gem

5. Wife

6. Householder

7. Son

King Dalhanemi, who possessed these treasures, handed over his kingdom to his eldest son and became a monk. While that son was performing royal duties for a few days, all seven Chakra gems were lost. Therefore, this king went to his father, the ascetic Dalhanemi, with sorrow and considered the matter. Then the father said this:

Your Majesty.. Those treasures are obtained only by one who preserves the virtues of the world. After the father, the son does not inherit them. If it is to be regained, it is possible to regain those treasures by observing and preserving this world. What is that name?

1. To take care of one's own children by performing the ten virtues

2. To entertain and care for one's own army

3. To entertain and care for other kings

4. To entertain and care for monks

5. To entertain and care for the villagers and the inhabitants of the colony

6. To entertain and care for householders

7. To take care of animals and birds without harming them

8. One should act in such a way as not to commit wrongdoings in one's own country

9. One should give wealth to the poor

10. One should practice virtue and follow the advice and instructions of the venerable one

The king, who lived in this manner and observed these ten virtues, regained the seven jewels that had disappeared. Based on this, he advised the kings of other islands to conduct their affairs well. That is...

1. Avoid killing animals

2. Do not steal

3. Do not engage in sexual misconduct

4. Do not lie

5. Do not consume intoxicants

As that king advised, other kings also followed those rules and conducted their kingdom affairs well. In this way, all seven kings fulfilled those kingdom affairs for ten years, so no problems arose in that society. But after the son of the seventh king inherited the kingdom, he started to conduct and behave in the way he wanted. Because of this, the entire kingdom began to decline. When the ministers inquired about it, they realized that the king was not fulfilling his duties for ten years. Although the ministers explained this to the king, the king did not give wealth to the poor by doing the same. Because of this, poverty increased.

" Adhananandhane anuppadeeyamane daliddiyanvepullamagamasi "

They were forced to steal from each other due to poverty. One person who stole a penny was caught and brought before the king. Then, with a strong desire to get wealth from the king, others also started stealing. Hearing this, the king sentenced the thieves to death. Then, people started killing the rich and getting rich. That is why weapons were invented. Then both theft and murder increased. Because of this, the life span of people also decreased. From generation to generation, the life span of people also decreased.

Someone was caught stealing and in order to escape punishment, he lied, saying, "We did not steal." Because of this, another life span was reduced. One man saw another stealing and told the king about it. Then gossiping began. Similarly, ugly people developed a desire for beautiful people and engaged in adultery. Due to this, sexual misconduct arose. Also, due to this, they were tempted to speak harsh and empty words among them. Also, greed, anger, anger, hatred, etc., were created. Due to the decline in life expectancy and the decline in colors, they were tempted to behave wrongly towards their parents and monks and brahmins. What do elders and monks and brahmins mean? They were tempted to do wrong things without realizing it. Based on this, life expectancy decreased further and the maximum life expectancy decreased to a hundred years. Therefore, it was made a law that a princess should be married at the age of five. The taste of honey, honey, cherry, salt, etc. disappeared. Everywhere the ten good qualities disappeared and the ten bad qualities disappeared. It was impossible to find anyone who would even utter the word "kusala" let alone do good deeds. Who would not consider their parents and the monks? They were highly praised.

They behaved in a sexual manner without regard for their mother or sister. They were like animals in a state of brute force. They were tempted to indulge in sexual intercourse wherever they could. Just as a Vedda, after seeing a deer and avoiding it, becomes very angry and chases after it and goes to kill and devour it, so all his parents, brothers, relatives, and friends began to look and act like four-legged animals. That is why everything that came into their hands was automatically created as weapons. Because of those weapons, they cut each other down, kill each other and are destroyed.

Therefore, each of them thought that it was not right for two to be together. Therefore, thinking that we should go to the forest alone and spend our days eating the leaves of the alum, they went to the mountainous regions and the forest itself. When they thought about it, they realized what was the cause of this destruction. Thinking that the reason for this was that they did not perform the ten virtues, they began to perform the ten virtues again. Therefore, people were born again, full of two colors of life.

Those terrible creatures, having no hunger or food, had no other disease than fainting and fatigue. Then, in the kingdom of Ketumati in the city of Benares, a Chakravarti king named Sankha arose. He also had the Sapta Chakraratna.

Sankho Nama So Raja

Ananta Bala Vahana

Satrathana Samalla

Cakkavatti Mahabbalo

On that day, a Buddha named Maitreya will appear. He will preach the Dhamma to the people from beginning to end. Thousands of monks will be ordained in the assembly. The king named Sankho in that kingdom will also give many alms and listen to the Dhamma from that Buddha, become ordained and attain arahantship. He will strive to live by himself and do the same.

There is no other power that is easier to suppress than the power of Mara. With the power of arahantship, all the power of Mara can be suppressed. By practicing the Dhamma of merit, merit and its consequences will increase.

Is this how true peace and liberation in life are achieved? All of them should carefully observe all the points mentioned above. Will someone live his life with the desire to enjoy pleasures and wealth and use bad qualities to earn wealth? They will be destroyed like a lime tree that is destroyed by its own fruit.

If someone lights a lamp in the secret house of samsara and walks on this path, showing others that it is possible to achieve happiness and liberation, and if he walks on it, that will be the only path to his liberation and the path to the taste of liberation.

In the whole great world, seeking happiness and achieving happiness, we are said to inherit a miserable and extremely helpless life. Have they not made the taste of liberation for all of them a bitter taste? It is they themselves. Let us examine with our minds and wisdom how it happened.

After a child is conceived in the womb, the parents take care of the child properly, give him the necessary nourishment after he is born into this world, and explain to him the meaning of life in society after he reaches the age of understanding. They also explain how the child should evolve in the world. These are the duties of well-informed parents.

There are five things that parents should do from the moment of birth to the moment of death.

1. They prevent sins

2. They use them for good

3. They teach crafts

4. They marry them appropriately

5. They give them appropriate inheritance

Since this was done in the society of that time, the problematic environment did not develop in the society as it does today. But in today's society, nothing but problems and competitive activities happen at every moment. The parents mentioned above should help their children in the tasks that they should perform. It is as follows.

1. By nourishing them with food and drink

2. By doing their work

3. By protecting the family line

4. By enjoying the inheritance properly

5. By paying homage to the deceased parents

If these five tasks are performed for the parents in the same way, there will be no problematic environment there either. But in this world, many big problems have arisen due to not performing these tasks. There is no specific time frame for doing this. There is no proper management. How has this management been lost?

Many philosophers in society today and the religions they follow make various accusations against Buddhism. What is it? If Buddhism can improve people's lives, why do so many Buddhists suffer? This is a question that the entire world is asking. And as they are asking that question, they have found the answer to that problem themselves. What is it?

Since the beginning of the universe, nothing has happened except the changes that have occurred in the world due to the infinite unsatisfied desires that have arisen in the hearts of humans. The five senses in the human body, namely

1. Eye

2. Ear

3. Nose

4. Tongue

5. Body

, are always striving to please the senses and because those senses cannot be satisfied according to their own thoughts, they have created a problematic thought within their minds. Is there any desire that arises in human thought? It can never be satisfied and satisfied in any way and see an end. That will be the nature and existence of the world.

The need of the natural religion is not to maintain this world, but to make every living being understand that this is the correct truth and to make them live a prosperous life only through pleasures and wealth and then kill them. The only thing that the natural religion does is to make the living being live in this world according to the results of the two activities done by the living being, good and bad. The natural religion works accordingly. So what should be the role of man?

This world is blind. Few know its truth. Like a bird freed from its cage, few go to happiness.
