How much light is there in a dark cloud? How many people find solace in looking at that moon? Similarly, what kind of roof does that light provide for the blind and the sighted to do their work well? If we can create our lives in the same way, the happiness that can be obtained through a similar great work cannot be obtained by doing any other work. A person does not have any ability to use a weapon in his hand well at first. But by using it frequently, good ability will naturally arise. Through that, we will be able to do our work well. But if we put aside all the weapons we own and think about how we will deal with this, the chances of those weapons being destroyed in vain or being stolen by a thief enemy will be great, not small.
We who seek pleasure at every moment should strive to work for pleasure, not to get hurt, like a termite who strives to create a well-made house. Although the space available to us to build a great house in an instant is rare, even a moment is enough to become a housewife. But gradually the ability to stand up like a great housewife will increase greatly. And that standing up cannot be destroyed by anyone but ourselves.
Does a person develop his wisdom with unwavering determination and perform his activities well? There is no good and important task that is considered impossible for him in society through that. But is he born into the world without any effort, just eating and sleeping? No purpose will reach him except his death. We have all been gifted to the world only to do good for the world.
If a cow, which is running without any restraint due to the pressure of its owner, comes across a field of lush green grass, it will be tempted to go there and taste it, but it will not even think about the pain caused by the beatings done by its owner. Why? Isn't it because it brings great sorrow to its heart?
We have to face various problematic situations at certain times. Also, in the face of those problematic situations, we also face various inconveniences. But in the end, the problem that has come to us brings great peace to our hearts and brings good luck. It is inherited by nature. If a person who is born deaf and dumb from birth tries to live thinking about it at all times, it will be a cause of destruction in his life, not a cause of progress. But if he, despite this, strives to get an education or learn some other technical skill with great courage, it will be a means of progress in his life. It is not that we have not seen such a large number of lives living on this earth. But there are those who look at it and sincerely satisfy their own shortcomings, as well as those who act as if they have not seen it.
Through nature, by creating us as a creature, it stores all the necessary principles for engaging in society rightly and wrongly in our brains. In order to use it well, it gives us a mind that can think correctly and a beautiful appearance that pleases and displeases the eyes of others. Then nature carefully examines us and asks what? Is what he is doing using all this for the good of nature and others living in the environment? Is it bad? Nature carefully examines us and decides that. Then it also bestows on us the sorrow and happiness that we should experience in accordance with it. Let us examine it in this way.
1. Killing others
2. Stealing other people's things
3. Sexual misconduct
4. False gossip, harsh words and empty words
5. Using intoxicants
Does anyone regularly engage in these five actions with other people? It is like creating his own destruction within himself.
"If you see it, you will see it."
The Buddha, who is like an unfathomable eye to the three worlds, has well taught that.
We have many powers and abilities. But we should use those powers only to do what others in society have accepted as good and good, and not to do what is accepted as bad. A razor should be used only to do what is accepted as good and good, and not to eat cow's milk. Before the wings grow, a bird that is about to fly falls to the ground and dies or becomes a prey to another animal without even realizing it.
A running horse, after getting its horns, tries to pull forward by destroying others around it, but does not just look at them and shake its head and run. At that moment, it thinks that it is the power to show its strength, but it does not think that it will be the cause of its destruction. If a person with good wisdom knows this and acts correctly, he can see great progress. Two things are done with a razor and a mirror. But those who live in society mix them up and try to drag their precious gems into the path of misery. Even though we see the results of this, by sitting around as if we did not see it, we are tempted to do more of the same.
How much do children suffer today when they are not doing so in this period of time, when they should be using the weapon of learning as they wish and sharpening their intellect and mind, and instead are destroying their entire future by satisfying the unsatisfied desires that arise in their hearts? Have parents made an effort to inquire about it and take appropriate measures? No. Many parents do not care about it, thinking that they have done everything they can for their children, but when their children later blame them, they make an effort to inquire about it and sigh. But by then the child's life has been destroyed. If parents do what they should do to ensure the future development of their children, this society will be more satisfied. Also, if they act in this way, this socialized creature will not be captured by these contradictory ideas and anger.
One should wear clothes not to show off the parts of one's body that should not be seen, but to show it off to the whole world. All the parts we possess are given to all beings in some way or another. They are not for show but to fulfill the various needs of their bodies. However, due to certain mentalities of those who live in the world, they have been captured by wrong views. One should keep one's hair neatly cut and combed as a sign of one's purity and to let others know that one's head is clean and there are no messy thoughts in one's mind, and not to show any other idea. But what about those who have misunderstood it? It is your job to keep a certain amount of patience and move forward.
If we start doing something, we should also remember to finish it properly. Otherwise, the right results of that work cannot be obtained. If you start a journey, you should prepare all the necessary things for that journey and prepare for that journey, but you should not think about the invisible obstacles that you think will happen on the way. If you think like that, you will not be able to finish that journey well by creating fear and anxiety in your mind.
If we need to go to school to study, if we think that we will face any kind of side effects on the way to that school, we will not be able to study at any time. If we need water, we dig a well and work hard to get the water we need from it, but if we think about whether we will definitely get water by digging this well, will we really get water? Will we not get it? If we are wondering about such things, we will not be able to do it well at any time and enjoy the endless joy that comes from it.
Only a person who can handle the oar correctly can row the boat called life. Also, if a person sits in that boat and acts with the right concentration of mind, he will achieve great success. If we, who were born in this world without knowing anything, try to become a person who knows everything well, whether it is good or bad, little by little, it will be a good factor for the progress of our lives.
