We can get a suitable answer when we ask our minds how much effort we all put in to cross the ocean of samsara. But how successfully does that effort create our life? How much does it create? Why should we ask ourselves and understand it with wisdom and strive to walk this journey correctly? Because we will encounter various obstacles on our journey and have to move. What is the only thing that many people do every time a problem arises on their journey? Is it to get closer to the problem and ask how I can solve this problem? Or is it to encounter that problem and become more and more upset and further impair the functioning of their mind? Why are we faced with such a situation? What is the reason for it?
We have reasons for all of this. But we do not try to direct our wisdom enough to bring those reasons to life with our wisdom and put them into action with our mind. That is why we still think that we are sitting in a dark cave called ignorance. Are we not only knowing the same thing and acting on it, but also on a completely different path? No, right? The Buddha has preached that very well.
Appaka te manusesu - ye jana para gamino
Atayam ithara paja - thiramevanu dhavathi
Very few cross this ocean of samsara to the other side. We all sigh looking at the other side of this ocean of samsara.
Despite having a developed peaceful mind and wisdom that can ask why this is so, many people are tempted to destroy this human life that has been acquired through much suffering because they do not act in accordance with it. What should we do to be free from this destruction?
Who is the one who sighs at every obstacle we encounter? He will not take any step forward from there. But if he thinks at that moment that the development of wisdom is an unwavering determination, and if he keeps in mind that he must not stop here and move forward somehow, and acts accordingly, his whole life can be designed in a way that overcomes obstacles. How much effort did the prince take to find the light of Dhamma to show the light of wisdom to all the beings in the world, making the dark path of the ocean of samsara clear? Did he go to the forest and attain Buddhahood with the help of others? No. He began to understand it alone with his own strength because this was a journey that he had to go alone. Also, how many beings did the Dhamma he discovered bring light to their lives? How many people were comforted by it? Because of this, how many people were tempted to insult the Buddha? We all know that how many people tried to kill him by sending huge rocks and stones in the way of the Buddha. And didn't he face all that unwaveringly because he lit the lamp of wisdom with unwavering determination? Do we also try to overcome those obstacles in order to decorate our lives in the face of all the obstacles that come into our lives? Or should we not be so foolish as to destroy our own lives. We must create the necessary foundation ourselves correctly to reveal the necessary paths to create a life that is radiant with happiness and is happy. In the face of a problem, we all need to be perfect with well-planned goals.
We who engage in various tasks with the aim of happiness have to face problems that make it impossible to complete those tasks well. But we must move forward unwaveringly in the face of those problems. If we look at that obstacle and try to mourn, it will be of great help in our life's happiness. When we were young, we would fall to the ground when we walked on our knees. But do we remain the same in those times of failure? No, we try to recover immediately. Based on the success of that effort, we have emerged as a strong person and a weak person today.
