Politics is something that should be done correctly and properly, not just for the sake of one's own thoughts. If someone does so, the satisfaction will be with him only for that moment. Then that satisfaction will be met with a tear and a sigh. This is the most fair process in this universe, then and now. But if we understand it well and try to understand who is doing the work from the social background in which we live today, we can live a life of great comfort.
There is a story of a Jataka narrated in the face of corrupt diplomatic activities. That is the Kukkura Jataka. What is well narrated here is that in the face of a wrong and corrupt act committed by a single person in the face of state governance, measures are taken to prevent it from happening again.
One summer, the chariot of the King of Benares was parked in the open air of the palace. Then, during that night, a heavy rain fell and the seats and the reins of the chariot, which were made of leather, became wet with the rain water. The pack of dogs guarding the palace, smelling the smell, bit and destroyed all the leather straps of the entire chariot. How did the minister Mudulla, who saw this, tell the king about this?
Your Majesty, last night, a pack of dogs entered the palace through the drain where the dirty water flows and bit and tore your chariot to pieces. In this way, the council of ministers, for their own protection, concealed the truth from the king and made a false statement. The king, accepting this, ordered all the dogs living outside the palace to be killed and burned. The council of ministers also did the same. Meanwhile, the Bodhisattva appeared among them and went to the king to save the lives of all those animals.
King, you are the protector of all the animals in this country. But with what inquiry do you save the lives of all of them? Nothing. Don't you know that this chariot was destroyed by dogs in this very palace? If you don't know, give all those dogs ghee mixed with ghee. Then all the dogs that ate the chariot will vomit it all up. The king, who did it in this way and reaped the right results, suffered a great tragedy.
In order to properly manage his government, his cabinet must also be correct. Otherwise, the entire country will be in great ruin. In the face of all these stories, we will understand that the disasters that occur are the results of our incorrect packaging of our correct thinking. If we understand this, we should strive to correct those mistakes, but not to engage in them and become cruel people who lead others to a miserable mentality and commit acts of corruption. If we do so, we will soon see the suffering of this entire world. To get rid of it, you should carefully examine your mind and actions.
