If a person acts truthfully in the world, he will not have to suffer any harm or slander from anyone. But if someone goes beyond the existence of the world and does contrary actions, we have seen that he will have to suffer a lot of physical and mental suffering there. A king should be someone who acts well according to the good actions of the entire great universe, and should not act according to his own thoughts and the words of others. If that happens, we can well see from Buddhist stories how great disasters can happen to him. But we act according to Buddhism and our state religion is Buddhism, so there is no benefit in just talking to deceive people. If Prince Siddhartha had not become a Buddha, we know that Chakravarti would have become a king. But because of his becoming a Buddha, it is as if a king has appeared to the entire universe, today, tomorrow and in the future. Likewise, it is impossible to say how much power everyone has received and will receive from the preachers he used to preach.
Every kingdom has always had some thieves. It cannot be changed. But it can be controlled. The Kukakura Jataka is one such story.
The horse-drawn carriage owned by the King of Benares was parked in the royal palace one summer. One night, a heavy rain caused all the seats and cushions made of leather in the carriage to become soft. The royal dogs of the palace, smelling the leather, tore them all apart. The next morning, the guards covered up this mistake that had occurred due to their negligence and lied to the king. Venerable sir, last night some stray dogs from the city came to the garden along the drain where the water flows in the palace and completely destroyed your horse-drawn carriage. Hearing this, he became very angry and saw the horse-drawn carriage without any investigation. He did the same thing. He ordered all the dogs outside the palace to be killed.
At this time, the Bodhisattva was also born in a dog spirit. Hearing about this disaster from the dogs in his entourage, he went to meet the King of Benares. He went and told the King all the news that had happened. But since the King had ordered him to show it to the King with witnesses, he gave the King a trick.
He ordered the dogs in the palace to be given grass mixed with ghee. A few moments passed. They started vomiting all the treasures in the carriage. Then the king was regretting the insults he had received because he acted without asking the truth. But there was no shortage of insults. Similarly, such actions happen in this universe in various ways. After that, acting without any inquiry also reduces one's self-respect.
We should think about this. We are all human beings, not animals. Therefore, we try to sort out everything well and solve it, but if we go and touch the garbage heaps everywhere, we will have to spend our lives as garbage pickers. It has happened in the same way today
If we know the facts well and do not know them, it is better for those who do not know them to live well and live well
Otherwise, we will be ruined and die
